What can you expect at your initial consultation?

The initial consultation will begin with an overview of your health history. The exam may consist of vitals, neurological testing including reflexes, and any other exam which will be determined by your health history. The total time spent with the doctor will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

 

How is Your Nervous System Functioning?

TLC offers an exam using state-of-the-art technology to look deeper into your nervous system. This exam is included in your initial consultation and examination. Review of Findings

The second appointment will consist of reporting your exam results and discussing a treatment plan that works for you. We approach each patient as an individual, and we want to provide the best care possible to help you reach your health goals. Therefore, each plan is determined based on your CoreScore and health status. 

 

First Adjustment

If you have determined that you are ready for the gift of health and hope, then your first adjustment will occur at the time of the 2nd appointment. Each adjustment is delivered based on the needs of the patient. Therefore, the first visit may only consist of a neck (cervical) adjustment. Some patients may be a little nervous about this adjustment, but it a very safe and effective adjustment. There may be a "click" or "pop" heard which may be unpleasant for some patients. This is a very normal reaction from a chiropractic adjustment; however, sometimes there may not be an actual audible release from a perfectly delivered adjustment that will correct the misalignment. We will prepare you and make you feel comfortable so you can have the best experience with your first adjustment!
